Piyush Goyal Vows Support for Real Estate Sector

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday assured realtors that he would take up the issue of easy financing for the real estate sector with the Reserve Bank of India, akin to other industries.

The minister further guaranteed discussions with state governments and urban local bodies to expedite project approvals, provided builders commit to transparent, corruption-free business practices.

During a conference organized by CREDAI, Goyal emphasized that the new RERA law has instilled transparency and certainty in the sector, benefiting honest developers and improving investor confidence.
