A six-year-old child and two other individuals suffered injuries following wild animal attacks during the night in Mahsi tehsil, officials confirmed.
Local residents and the victims' families believe wolves are responsible, but forest department officials, along with wildlife experts, suggest jackals or dogs might be the culprits.
The attacks, occurring between Thursday night and Friday, saw Gudiya (26) attacked while putting her daughter to sleep in Singiya Nasirpur village, resulting in neck and facial injuries. Nanakau (6) was injured in Narkotwa village, and Mukimunnisha (45) was attacked during her daily chores in Sammanpurwa village.
