In response to a recent wolf scare, the Forest Department in Bahraich's Mahsi Tepra village has deployed drones to monitor the area. 'The team is hard at work,' said Sanjay Pathak, General Manager of the Forest Department. 'We are using drones to monitor suspected areas and have set up cages at strategic locations. Efforts are ongoing, and we need everyone's cooperation. Currently, we are operating three drones and have captured four out of the six wolves.'

Residents of Kulaila village have begun patrolling with sticks to protect themselves against wolf attacks. Authorities held a meeting on Tuesday in Purva village to discuss protective measures. 'They advised us to stay alert and protect ourselves,' said Uday Pratap, a resident of Purva village. 'Police are telling us to stay inside or on rooftops and keep doors closed. Although frightened, we are staying vigilant.'

The number of injuries in the alleged wolf attacks in Bahraich has risen to 34, confirmed Dr. Ashish Verma of the Mahasi Community Health Centre. 'All injured individuals have been treated; two were referred to the District Hospital, and are stable,' Verma stated. The forest department continues its search for the remaining two wolves under 'Operation Bhediya' and faces increasing local frustration due to the prolonged threat.
