Delhi Police have announced traffic restrictions set to be enforced from Saturday around DDA Ground, Burari bypass, in light of the 8th Ganapati Puja Mahotsav. The event, which includes Katha Parvachan, will take place from September 17, drawing large crowds that may congest surrounding roads.

To manage the anticipated traffic, police have declared that no vehicles will be permitted to halt or park on specified roads, including Arihant Marg, Outer Ring Road, Shanti Swaroop Tyagi Marg, and Bhai Parmanand Marg. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed and prosecuted as per the law.

Alternate parking spots have been designated near Tara Singh Chowk and Shah Alam Bandh Road. Certain sections such as Shah Alam Bandh Road and Bhai Parmanand Marg will remain closed. Commuters are urged to avoid restricted routes and use public transport. Travelers heading to ISBT, railway stations, or airports should plan their journeys with ample time.
