Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has declared the government's intent to enforce a 21-point Winter Action Plan aimed at mitigating pollution during the cold season.
A joint meeting involved 35 pivotal departments such as the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), Delhi Police, Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), and Public Works Department (PWD), where strategies were thoroughly discussed. Rai emphasized the government's unwavering commitment to tackle pollution, highlighting this year's focus on innovative measures.
Last year's 15-point plan yielded positive results with noticeable pollution reduction since the Kejriwal government took charge. The enhanced plan aims to continue these improvements.
