The Delhi government's Winter Action Plan to combat air pollution could include policies for work from home and awareness campaigns, Environment Minister Gopal Rai announced Thursday.
During a press conference, Rai mentioned that experts and officials from various government departments had provided critical input to shape the action plan.
Key suggestions include promoting behavioral changes, encouraging electric vehicle use, and possibly implementing artificial rain to alleviate severe pollution days. Additionally, the plan will address vehicular and dust pollution, pollution hotspots, and stubble and garbage burning. A review meeting on September 5 will finalize the plan.
