Himachal Pradesh faced significant disruption as torrential rains lashed the state, blocking vehicular movement on 85 more roads and uprooting trees in the capital on Tuesday.
The local meteorological office issued a 'yellow' alert, anticipating heavy rains with thunderstorms and lightning over the upcoming two days.
By Tuesday, 126 roads were closed due to landslides and fallen trees, affecting multiple districts. Additionally, over 1,100 power and 27 water supply schemes were disrupted, exacerbating the crisis.
