A tragic incident claimed the life of a five-year-old boy, Abhishek Ghasi, in Madhya Pradesh's Shahdol district on Saturday afternoon. A kutcha wall of a house in Chhapra Tola village collapsed while he was playing, said police.

Sidhi police station in-charge Rajkumar Mishra explained that relatives from Chhattisgarh were visiting local resident Lalji Ghasi. The wall collapse happened during the visit, trapping three children, including Abhishek, under the debris.

Although the children were quickly rescued, Abhishek was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, the other two children sustained injuries but are currently out of danger, the police official confirmed.
