Seven individuals from two families were killed in separate landslide incidents spurred by relentless rains in western Nepal over the last 24 hours, according to police reports on Monday.

Four members of a family in the Bajhang district met a tragic end when a landslide swept away their home at the Bungal municipality-10 on Sunday night. Among the deceased were 50-year-old Kali Dhami, her daughter-in-law, and her young grandchildren, aged six and three, police stated.

Meanwhile, in the Jajarkot district, a landslide early Monday morning buried a temporary shelter in Majhagaun of Nalgad municipality-2, killing three family members who had been residing there after their house collapsed in last year's earthquake.
