The incident occurred on Wednesday in Bopkhel when the child was playing with other kids. A viral video shows a child rushing towards a house to alert the residents about the mishap.

The footage also captured a man arriving at the scene and lifting the injured girl. A police official from Pimpri Chinchwad confirmed that the gate fell after the girl ran towards it, possibly due to it coming out of its sliding channel. An accidental death case has been registered.
