Delhi Development Minister Gopal Rai announced on Thursday that the city government has given the green light to 318 development projects worth Rs 455 crore for the capital's villages.
During a review meeting attended by officials from the Development Department, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), and the Irrigation and Flood Control Department, Rai emphasized the urgency of completing these initiatives. He instructed the departments to finalize the pending proposals and projects promptly.
The minister underscored the commitment to village development, referencing the establishment of the Delhi Rural Development Board by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He demanded action reports on the development works within a week and urged timely tender releases to accelerate progress.
