In a shocking incident in Rajasthan's Sriganganagar district, three individuals were detained on Friday in connection with the killing of two chinkara deer. This led to an uproar among the Bishnoi community, known for its wildlife protection efforts.

The agitated community members staged a dharna and blocked the Jaitsar-Padampur road using the deer carcasses, disrupting traffic significantly. According to officials, the deer skeletons were discovered in a farm on Thursday, sparking immediate calls for justice.

Divisional Forest Officer Dilip Singh stated, 'Two chinkaras (Indian gazelle) were killed by poachers in Sriganganagar's 2LC village. Prima facie bullet shots were found on the carcass.
