U Min Aung Hlaing, the leader of Myanmar, has embarked on a visit to Bihar as part of a broader five-day tour of India. On Saturday, he arrived in Gaya where he was warmly welcomed by representatives of the Bihar government.
The visit's highlights include providing prayers at both the noteworthy Maha Bodhi Temple and the Sujata Temple. Hlaing will also engage in the Myanmar-India business forum on Sunday. Scheduled talks with India's Prime Minister, aimed at bolstering historical and cultural ties, will cap off his trip.
