Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to visit Bihar early next month to participate in a symposium titled 'Safeguarding the Constitution,' which aims to address concerns over alleged threats to the Constitution by the Narendra Modi government. This announcement was made by Sushil Kumar Pasi, the AICC secretary, during a press conference on Friday.
Rahul Gandhi will engage with social activists at the Samvidhan Suraksha Sammelan in Patna on April 7, coinciding with the Ram Navami festival, which is notably celebrated by the BJP with enthusiasm. Pasi emphasized that Gandhi's visit aligns with the spirit of secularism enshrined in the Constitution, a principle they accuse the BJP of neglecting.
This upcoming visit marks the third time Gandhi will travel to Bihar this year, following similar engagements in January and February. The Congress party aims to strengthen its visibility in the state through efforts like the 'Har Ghar Congress ka Jhanda' campaign, encouraging people to display the party flag at their homes.
