Pawan Yadav Appointed as Amit Shah's Private Secretary

Pawan Yadav, a Manipur cadre IAS officer from the 2014 batch, has been appointed as the private secretary to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Yadav was previously the deputy secretary in the Union home ministry. His appointment is approved by the ACC until April 2027.

Pawan Yadav, an experienced IAS officer from the 2014 batch, has been appointed as the private secretary to India's Union Home Minister Amit Shah, as confirmed by an official order released on Wednesday.

Previously serving as the deputy secretary in the Union home ministry, Yadav hails from the Manipur cadre. His new role comes after the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved the curtailment of his current tenure.

The Personnel Ministry has sanctioned Yadav's appointment to this pivotal position for a term lasting until April 2, 2027, effective from the assumption of his post or on a co-terminus basis.
