Scores of youth activists have aligned with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Zadibal Assembly constituency of Jammu and Kashmir, marking a significant boost for the party in the region.
According to a BJP spokesperson, more than a hundred activists from the area officially joined the BJP in a ceremony attended by Sat Sharma, the president of J-K BJP, and Ashok Koul, the party's general secretary (organisation). Both leaders welcomed these new members by presenting them with traditional BJP patkas.
Party president Sharma expressed that this influx of young members highlights the growing trust in BJP's vision, which focuses on progress, good governance, and stability. He assured the new entrants of the party's dedication to ensuring the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir's diverse communities, while Koul emphasized ongoing efforts for inclusive growth and opportunities for the region's youth.
