In a turn of events developing in the crime investigation sphere, authorities have apprehended six suspects in connection with the murder of Gulfam Singh Yadav, a prominent BJP leader, police confirmed on Tuesday. Yadav was allegedly attacked with a lethal injection while he was at his village farm on March 10.

According to law enforcement sources, Superintendent of Police Krishan Kumar Bishnoi revealed that a dispute had arisen between Yadav and Mahesh Yadav, the Gram Pradhan of Madhli village, as well as his son Ravi Yadav during the MLC elections. This conflict is believed to have prompted the deadly plot against Yadav.

The police investigation included the review of CCTV footage. Efforts to save Yadav included taking him to Aligarh for treatment, yet he tragically passed away en route, Circle Officer (Gunnaur) Deepak Tiwari noted. Yadav, who was previously a BJP assembly bypoll candidate, became a casualty of political rivalry.
