Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak delivered a sharp critique of Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, accusing him of being 'confused' and uninformed about the state's transformation. Pathak stated, "UP is swiftly becoming the country's leading state, and the SP's desperation for power won't be accepted by the people," during an interview with ANI.

On the same day, the UP government, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, marked its eighth anniversary. Akhilesh Yadav took to social media, expressing a dire view of the state's condition over the past eight years, quipping, 'Eight years, UP ruined, and more questions.'

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya expressed optimism that the BJP would replicate its 2017 election success in the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections, dismissing the future of the Samajwadi Party, Congress, and BSP by 2047. Chief Minister Adityanath, during a commemorative event, thanked the people for their support, emphasizing 'service, safety, and good governance' delivered under PM Modi's leadership.
