The Himachal Vidhan Sabha will not convene on March 15, shifting the scheduled budget presentation for the fiscal year 2025-26 to March 17 at 11:00 am, as announced by Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania. This decision was revealed following a Business Advisory Committee meeting.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshwardhan proposed the timetable change, which received agreement from the opposition. Speaker Pathania mentioned the modifications as minor adjustments in the session calendar, with no discussions held about extending the session's duration.

In other developments, the Governor expressed unhappiness with certain newspaper reports covering his address, prompting notices to three newspapers demanding their response within three days.
