Haryana CM Pays Respects to Late Himachal Leader Kishan Kapoor

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini visited Dharamshala on Friday to pay his respects to the late Kishan Kapoor, former Kangra MP and three-time minister in Himachal Pradesh.
Kishan Kapoor, a leading Gaddi figure, died on February 1 at PGI Chandigarh after battling a prolonged illness, at the age of 74.
During his visit, Saini met Kapoor's family to offer condolences and acknowledged the politician's extensive contributions to the region. Saini traveled from Chandigarh and spent about 30 minutes with the bereaved family before heading back. Kapoor's political career included five terms as MLA from Dharamshala and three terms as state minister. He was also elected as Kangra MP in 2019. Kishan Kapoor is survived by his wife, Rekha Kapoor, son Shashwat Kapoor, and daughter Pragati Kapoor.
