In a sharp criticism of the BJP's stance against the Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh urged the party to focus on development rather than countering AAP initiatives.
Singh, during a press conference, dared the BJP to introduce a similar scheme in the 22 states it governs. "Their focus on opposing the scheme post-Kejriwal's announcement is evident to the entire nation," he stated.
The scheme promises Rs 18,000 monthly to Hindu temple priests and Sikh granthis in Delhi, drawing criticism from BJP, accusing AAP of vote bank politics ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections.
