Political leaders across Puducherry came together on Tuesday to extend their warm new year greetings to the citizens of the Union Territory. Lieutenant Governor K Kailashnathan and Chief Minister N Rangasamy, along with other ministers and political figures, underscored messages of happiness and prosperity as 2024 begins.
In his address, the Lt Governor expressed his global well-wishes, particularly to the residents of Puducherry, expressing hope for a year filled with faith and stability. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Rangasamy reiterated his administration's dedication to peace, health, and happiness for its people.
The Chief Minister also highlighted initiatives targeted towards marginalized groups, youths, and women, pointing out ongoing efforts to fill government vacancies swiftly. Other political leaders, including Speaker R Selvam and Deputy Speaker P Rajavelu, joined in spreading good cheer and support to the community.
