Delhi BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj has accused AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal of using pre-election promises as an 'appeasement' tactic to gain votes in the upcoming Assembly polls.

During a press briefing, Swaraj challenged Kejriwal to fulfill his announcements like the 'Pujari Granthi Samman Yojna' and 'Mahila Samman Yojna', highlighting that no Model Code of Conduct was in effect to restrict such actions.

Kejriwal recently revealed plans to provide a monthly honorarium of Rs 18,000 to Hindu temple priests and Gurudwara granthis if AAP is re-elected. Swaraj condemned this, pointing out AAP's failure to pay Imams similarly in the past due to financial constraints.
