Delhi's Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has expressed strong disapproval of AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal's characterization of Atishi as a 'temporary chief minister', calling it an affront to the democratic principles of the Constitution.
In a letter addressed to the chief minister, Saxena described Kejriwal's remarks as an insult to President Droupadi Murmu, who appointed Atishi, and also to himself as her representative in the state.
Saxena commended Atishi for her handling of administrative responsibilities and addressed the recent unfounded accusations surrounding her work, emphasizing the importance of factual discourse in public statements.
