In a powerful demonstration of dissent, hundreds of Congress workers from across Jharkhand converged at Raj Bhavan in Ranchi on Wednesday. The protest was led by the state president, Keshav Mahto Kamlesh, and aimed at voicing dissatisfaction with the Centre's handling of key issues.
The protesters, carrying placards and chanting slogans, began their march at the Congress Bhawan. Kamlesh, addressing the gathering post-march, criticized the Centre's silence on the Manipur violence and the US justice department's allegations against the Adani group. He emphasized the worsening law and order situation in Manipur and the increasing atrocities against women.
Congress legislature party leader Pradeep Yadav further accused the Centre of inaction on corruption attributed to certain corporates. He blamed the Centre's flawed policies for aggravating corruption concerns, calling upon the government to take decisive measures to address these critical issues.
