In a sharp political jab, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu took aim at YSRCP leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, sarcastically commenting that he had 'never seen a leader like him'. Naidu's remarks came amid the YSRCP's boycott of the state assembly.
The Chief Minister underscored that the official status of opposition does not stem from demands, but through the electoral mandate. 'When people vote, and when a party wins 10 percent of the seats, that party will get the opposition status,' Naidu stated, while congratulating Undi TDP MLA K Raghurama Krishna Raju on his election as deputy speaker.
Further escalating his critique, Naidu likened Reddy's demeanor to that of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, questioning his personality and thinking. In the midst of these political dynamics, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan proposed the introduction of a 'Social Media Abuse Protection Bill' in the assembly.
