Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar strongly backed Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's assertions on Thursday, regarding the BJP's purported attempt to destabilize the state government.

Shivakumar accused the BJP of trying to lure 50 Congress MLAs with Rs 50 crore each in a political move dubbed 'Operation Lotus'. He reinforced Siddaramaiah’s statement, revealing that Congress legislators had been informed about these endeavors by the BJP to topple the current administration.

At a public event in Mysuru, Siddaramaiah assured that no Congress MLA had succumbed to the alleged bribe offers. He also claimed that false cases were being filed against him by the BJP in efforts to oust him from office. The BJP, however, has refrained from issuing a response to these allegations so far.
