Union Home Minister Amit Shah took an assertive stance on Wednesday, vowing that Article 370, which provided special status to Jammu and Kashmir, would not be reinstated, even hypothetically suggesting that a celestial return of former PM Indira Gandhi wouldn't alter this decision.

In the run-up to the impending assembly polls in Maharashtra, Shah, a notable campaigner for the BJP, openly criticized Congress for its approach to Muslim reservations and for allegedly obstructing the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya, accusing them of political vote bank tactics.

Addressing multiple rallies, including one in Dhule, Shah emphasized BJP's commitment to development under the Mahayuti alliance, labeling the opposition MVA as an ''Aurangzeb Fan Club'' and juxtaposing it with BJP's adherence to the ideals of historical figures Shivaji Maharaj and Veer Savarkar.
