Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren launched a scathing attack against the BJP, alleging the party of using ethnic divisions for electoral gains while ignoring pressing tribal concerns in Manipur.
Speaking at an election rally in Ramgarh, the JMM leader accused the BJP leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, of remaining silent on the violence in Manipur that affected tribal communities, despite projecting themselves as benefactors of Jharkhand's Adivasis.
Soren praised his administration's efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic and criticized the central government for overlooking farmer debt crises and favoring wealthy industrialists, contrasting it with JMM's welfare schemes.
