Secretary of State Antony Blinken is set to travel to Europe for critical discussions concerning Ukraine, amid heightened tensions due to the US presidential election and Donald Trump's impending return to the White House.

NATO and European Union officials will convene in Brussels on Wednesday, focusing on strategies to enhance support for Ukraine. President-elect Trump has indicated a potential reduction in US military assistance to the country amidst its conflict with Russia.

Following brief engagements in Brussels, Blinken will proceed to Peru and Brazil, aligning with outgoing President Joe Biden at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum and a subsequent meeting with leaders from the Group of 20 leading economies.
