In an assertive push ahead of the Jharkhand assembly elections, BJP National President JP Nadda criticized opposition parties, accusing them of fostering corruption and familial politics. Nadda, addressing a rally in Giridih, emphasized the BJP and NDA's achievements under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and noted the wave of support for his party.
Nadda applauded Prime Minister Modi's efforts to integrate Jharkhand into the mainstream, claiming there is no better ally for the state than the BJP-NDA. He credited former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for Jharkhand's creation and vowed that the BJP would lead the state towards prosperity. Nadda also reiterated the party's commitment to Adivasi recognition by marking Bhagwan Birsa Munda's birth anniversary as Adivasi Gaurav Diwas.
Earlier, BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad accused the Congress of aligning with conservative divisions within the Muslim community to garner votes. He claimed that the Congress's alliance tactics are signs of their fear of impending electoral defeat. The first election phase kicks off on Wednesday, with votes being counted on November 23, setting the stage for a crucial political battle.
