In a fiery address at a poll rally in Jharkhand's Jamua, Bharatiya Janata Party president Jagat Prasad Nadda accused the Congress of opposing backward communities and promoting a divisive agenda.
Nadda highlighted Prime Minister Modi's inclusion of 27 OBC ministers in his cabinet, showcasing it as a testament to the BJP's commitment to non-discrimination. He also accused the JMM, Congress, and RJD of corruption and dynastic politics, labeling the present coalition as a 'government of thieves' and urged for their removal.
Nadda vowed that electing the BJP would increase OBC reservations to 27% without affecting other quotas, establish 10 medical colleges, and build an expressway linking Varanasi and Kolkata. He pressed for a 'double-engine government' to ensure all-round development for Jharkhand.
