In a sharp critique of the Shiv Sena-BJP-NCP coalition in Maharashtra, NCP-SP leader Sharad Pawar stressed the urgent need for political change to improve conditions for farmers, women, and the youth. Speaking at a rally in Jalgaon's Parola, Pawar cited critical issues such as farmer suicides, crimes against women, and rising unemployment as crucial areas where immediate action is needed.
Pawar criticized the government's failure to provide safety and security, particularly for women, referencing a high-profile case in Badlapur involving the assault of two young girls. He questioned the efficacy of schemes like the 'Ladki Bahin Yojana' and pointed to alarming statistics on missing girls.
Underscoring the opposition's unified stance, Pawar announced that the MVA—comprising Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress, and NCP-SP—plans to mobilize across Maharashtra to advocate for a regime change. He credited the INDIA bloc's role in thwarting constitutional changes proposed by the Prime Minister, emphasizing electoral strategies for the upcoming assembly elections.
