In a heated exchange of political rhetoric, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla has sharply criticized Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Reacting to Kharge's recent comments about Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Poonawalla accused Congress of being fundamentally anti-Hindu.
Poonawalla's statements came after Kharge took a jibe at Adityanath during a rally in Maharashtra, accusing some political leaders of masquerading as sadhus. The Congress President criticized Adityanath and his 'batoge toh katogey' slogan, which he claims spreads divisive sentiments.
Amidst this backdrop, Kharge emphasized that the BJP-RSS alliance poses a threat to national unity. As Maharashtra gears up for Assembly elections, the political face-off between the major alliances is intensifying, with both sides trading accusations and appealing to their vote bases.
