In a scathing speech at a rally in Udgir, Latur, NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar targeted Maharashtra's BJP-led Mahayuti, accusing them of neglecting the state's farmers and failing to tackle unemployment effectively.
Pawar claimed projects are being allocated to Gujarat at Maharashtra's expense while criticizing policies like importing soybean derivatives, which have harmed local farmers. He argued these 'farmer-unfriendly' tactics undermine the agricultural sector.
The former Union agriculture minister also lambasted the government over 'rising crimes, inflation, and injustices against women,' urging the electorate to vote wisely and avoid being misled by false promises. Pawar's remarks ignited fervor at the upcoming assembly elections.
