Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday launched a scathing critique against the BJP-led Centre, accusing it of using economic policies such as demonetisation and the Goods and Services Tax (GST) as tools to harm farmers, laborers, and the impoverished population.
Addressing a rally in Jamshedpur, Gandhi alleged a growing ideological battle between the BJP-RSS and the INDIA bloc, representing hate and love, respectively. He further claimed these policies under Prime Minister Narendra Modi are responsible for exacerbating unemployment across India.
Gandhi also accused BJP-RSS of fomenting division based on caste, religion, and language while maintaining that Congress aims to preserve India's constitution. Despite challenges, Gandhi is confident about defeating Modi and prioritizing the welfare of the masses.
