Escalating Conflict: Casualties in Central Gaza Surge to 25

The death toll from Israeli airstrikes in central Gaza has risen to 25, following recoveries of additional bodies. Strikes targeted the Nuseirat refugee camp, a motorcycle in Zuwaida, and a house in Deir al-Balah. Health officials report that the ongoing conflict since October 7, 2023, has resulted in over 43,000 Palestinian deaths.

The central Gaza Strip witnessed an increase in casualties, reaching a death toll of 25, as more bodies were recovered post-Israeli strikes. Hospital officials confirmed the grim figure on Friday.

Initially, 16 individuals were reported dead following attacks on the Nuseirat refugee camp. However, officials at Al-Aqsa hospital recorded 21 bodies, some transferred from Awda hospital from the day prior.

A recent strike tragically claimed the lives of an 18-month-old and his 10-year-old sister. Meanwhile, the Israeli military has cited the targeting of armed militants as their objective during the ongoing offensive.
