The central Gaza Strip witnessed an increase in casualties, reaching a death toll of 25, as more bodies were recovered post-Israeli strikes. Hospital officials confirmed the grim figure on Friday.
Initially, 16 individuals were reported dead following attacks on the Nuseirat refugee camp. However, officials at Al-Aqsa hospital recorded 21 bodies, some transferred from Awda hospital from the day prior.
A recent strike tragically claimed the lives of an 18-month-old and his 10-year-old sister. Meanwhile, the Israeli military has cited the targeting of armed militants as their objective during the ongoing offensive.
