Amid growing speculations regarding internal electoral competition within the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar announced on Thursday that discussions will soon commence to resolve instances where multiple nominations have emerged. Pawar highlighted that MVA leaders will address the issue in the coming days.
The coalition, comprising the Nationalist Congress Party, Congress, and Shiv Sena under the MVA banner, plans to approach the electorate with a unified manifesto and campaign, confident of garnering substantial support. Pawar, with key leaders Rahul Gandhi and Uddhav Thackeray, will spearhead the campaign starting November 6.
Meanwhile, Communist Party of India General Secretary D Raja criticized Congress for its handling of seat-sharing discussions within the INDIA block, urging the party to introspect and refine its election strategies rather than focusing solely on criticizing the BJP.
