During the TVK's first state conference, leader Vijay refrained from criticizing AIADMK, which was seen as a positive indicator for AIADMK by its General Secretary, Edappadi K Palaniswami. He emphasized that alliances are formed based on current political climates and maintained the party's commitment to its ideology.

In a strategic maneuver during the Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam's (TVK) maiden state conference, party leader Vijay withheld criticism towards the AIADMK. This omission was interpreted as a testimony to the AIADMK's effective performance by General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami during a press briefing on Tuesday.
Amid discussions of potential alliances, Palaniswami highlighted the fluid nature of electoral partnerships, suggesting it was too early to predict any coalition with the fledgling TVK. In contrast, he accused the ruling DMK and its partners of lacking ideological foundations.
Responding to inquiries about Vijay's critical remarks towards the DMK and indirect jabs at BJP, Palaniswami expressed confidence in AIADMK's current standing. He reiterated the party's steadfast adherence to its founding principles, noting that while alliances may shift with electoral circumstances, the core ideology remains unchanged.
