Modi extended a warm welcome to Chancellor Scholz, emphasizing the importance of the India-Germany friendship. In a statement posted on social media, Modi expressed his enthusiasm for the meeting and highlighted the countries' strong history of developmental collaboration.
According to External Affairs Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal, both leaders agreed to sustain the momentum in relations. They addressed opportunities in economy, investment, technology, security, defense, and talent mobility. Scholz's visit included attending the 18th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business in Delhi.
