The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), under Ajit Pawar's leadership, has revealed its second list of seven candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. This list includes MLA Zeeshan Siddique, who will contest from Bandra East, formerly a Congress stronghold. Siddique joined the NCP following his father's recent assassination.

Criticism arose from Zeeshan Siddique over the Shiv Sena's decision to field Varun Sardesai in Bandra East, a constituency Siddique claims as his territory. His suspension from the Congress for cross-voting in previous elections has not deterred his political ambitions.

The NCP's list also features former BJP MPs Pratap Chikhalikar and Sanjay Kaka Patil, now members of NCP. Chikhalikar, who lost the Lok Sabha polls, is contesting from Loha, while Patil will face NCP's Rohit Patil in Tasgaon-Kavathe Mahankal. Other candidates included are Nishikant Patil, Sana Malik, Sunil Tingre, and Dnyaneshwar Katke.
