Addressing a news conference, Georgieva highlighted that Egypt's IMF loan program was increased to $8 billion earlier this year, largely due to the economic repercussions of conflicts in Gaza, Lebanon, and Sudan, coupled with a staggering 70% drop in Suez Canal revenues.
