Arunachal Pradesh Races for Error-Free Electoral Roll

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Pawan Kumar Sain encouraged political parties to meticulously ensure error-free electoral rolls. During a meeting, Sain stressed the importance of activating district units and appointing booth-level agents to assist officers at polling stations.
The ongoing annual revision of photo electoral rolls spans all 60 assembly constituencies. Political parties have been urged to rigorously verify and submit up to the allowed limit of claims and objections during the revision period.
With an integrated draft set for release on October 29, Sain assured that the finalized electoral roll will be publicly available on January 6, 2024. Arunachal Pradesh is preparing a total of 2,233 polling stations for the revision process across the state.
