AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami has vocally countered Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin's remarks, asserting that it is Stalin who is 'daydreaming' about his party's influence. Palaniswami reacted to Stalin's comments questioning if he was oblivious to political realities, calling Stalin's version a 'lie'.
At a party event, Palaniswami criticized Stalin's claims that the AIADMK's decade-long governance was ineffective. He cited a proverb to argue that repeated lies could overshadow truths. He referenced Narakkal election predictions to point out that the AIADMK's defeat margins were narrowing, contesting Stalin's portrayal of AIADMK's supposed decline.
Palaniswami elaborated on his party's growth by highlighting election data and accused the DMK government of stalling AIADMK's initiatives like the drinking water scheme. He stressed AIADMK's ongoing commitment to public service regardless of being in power and painted DMK's influence as a result of misleading perceptions.
