The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled a formidable list of 40 star campaigners to spearhead its efforts in the upcoming Punjab Assembly bypolls. The high-profile team includes Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, and Union Ministers like Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Ravneet Singh Bittu, among others.

The list, released on Tuesday evening, also features BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh, Punjab unit chief Sunil Jakhar, and Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, alongside former Union Ministers Anurag Thakur and Smriti Irani. Prominent figures such as former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and MPs Manoj Tiwari and Ravi Kishan have also been roped in for the campaign.

The bypolls, crucial for the BJP, are set for November 13 across four constituencies: Gidderbaha, Dera Baba Nanak, Chabbewal, and Barnala. These seats were vacated after MLAs were elected to the Lok Sabha. The candidate submission deadline is October 25, with votes counting to take place on November 23.
