In a significant legal turn, a U.S. judge has instructed Rudy Giuliani to cede control of his luxury New York apartment, along with other assets, to two Georgia election workers. This move aims to facilitate the collection of nearly $146 million resulting from a defamation judgment against the former New York mayor.

The federal jury verdict followed Giuliani's baseless allegations against Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Wandrea' Shaye Moss, related to vote manipulation during the 2020 election, which was won by Democrat Joe Biden. The court order mandates that Giuliani place his Manhattan apartment, cash accounts, luxury items, and memorabilia into a receivership overseen by Freeman and Moss.

Legal proceedings continue as Freeman and Moss seek approximately $2 million in unpaid legal fees from Giuliani, who has declared bankruptcy and is appealing the case. Amidst additional investigations in Georgia and Arizona, Giuliani, now disbarred, denies any wrongdoing.
