Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren accused constitutional bodies of acting under the influence of the BJP, characterizing them as government puppets. His comments emerged during his campaign kickoff in Garhwa for the upcoming assembly elections.
The senior JMM leader emphasized that this election is centered around safeguarding the rights and dignity of Jharkhand's people, while expressing his dissatisfaction with the early announcement of the election schedule, which he claims hindered his government's ability to complete its full term.
Soren, alleging personal harassment over unfounded accusations, vowed steadfast opposition against any coercive tactics until Jharkhand's developmental commitments are fulfilled. Mithilesh Kumar Thakur, the Jharkhand minister, officially filed his nomination for the Garhwa assembly seat, amidst a voter base of approximately 2.60 crore, including first-time voters and marginalized groups.
