In a bid to solidify seat-sharing arrangements for the upcoming Jharkhand elections, Tejashwi Yadav, a prominent leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has taken charge of negotiations. According to Sanjay Yadav, President of RJD Jharkhand, positive strides have been made, highlighting the collective decision of the INDIA alliance to contest together.
Meanwhile, in recent developments, Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Tejashwi Yadav visited Ranchi on Friday to engage in further discussions with INDIA bloc leaders. Tejashwi assured that any resulting decisions about the seat-sharing strategy would be promptly communicated.
The Chief Election Commissioner, Rajiv Kumar, has announced that Jharkhand's Assembly elections will occur in two phases on November 13 and 20, with vote counting slated for November 23. The timeline includes crucial dates for nominations and withdrawals as preparations proceed ahead of the major electoral event.
