In a clear dismissal of swirling rumors, former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam addressed speculations about his son, former MP P Ravindranath, joining Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam. Panneerselvam categorically stated that these claims were baseless.
The conjecture gained traction when Ravindranath congratulated TVK's leader, actor Vijay, on launching the party's flag on August 22. His warm wishes were perceived by many as an indication of potential political alliance.
Actor Vijay's political ambitions became evident earlier this year with the announcement of Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam. As the party prepares for its first state conference on October 27, all eyes are on its future steps in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections slated for 2026.
