On Sunday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma unveiled the Mission Basundhara 3.0 at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati, addressing concerns raised by opposition parties, Congress and AIUDF. He emphasized the initiative's aim to secure land rights for the state's indigenous communities, countering political criticism with a clear declaration.

The Chief Minister's Office underscored this government commitment via a post on X, highlighting the launch of Digidoc by the Revenue Department. This digital directory for non-registrable and optionally registrable documents is set to simplify administrative procedures, cut down processing times, and enhance public convenience. This move showcases the administration's focus on improving accessibility and operational efficiency.

Mission Basundhara's journey started on October 2, 2021, with subsequent phases enhancing its scope. Concurrently, the Chief Minister launched the Chief Minister's Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) 2.0, extending support to budding entrepreneurs. Building on the success of its initial phase, CMAAA 2.0 aims to aid 75,000 entrepreneurs with significant financial backing, boosting the state's startup landscape.
